A Community Steps Up: Ray White Dalkeith | Claremont Rallies Clients to Tackle Homelessness in WA

This year, Ray White Dalkeith | Claremont used their annual client dinner to spotlight the growing challenges of housing insecurity in Western Australia and to share why they have chosen to partner with Homes for Homes in driving long-term, tangible solutions.

The enjoyable evening also served as a powerful platform for awareness and action. Guests were guided through the realities of homelessness in WA, where almost 10,000 people are without a secure home and more than 1,350 people in Perth alone are sleeping rough. By choosing to align with Homes for Homes, the agency is helping expand the supply of social and affordable housing, based on Housing First principles that foster solutions proven to break the cycle of homelessness.

In the words of Vivien Yap, Principal of Ray White Dalkeith | Claremont:

“It is an absolute privilege to work with families in finding their new house, and the fact that so many people in our own state never get to experience the comfort and safety that comes with a place to call home is heartbreaking. It is imperative that we lend our voices to such an important cause and contribute to solutions that can make an enormous difference in the lives of people struggling to access safe, affordable housing.”

Thanks to the generosity of their clients, the evening raised an extraordinary $37,180. Every dollar will be directed toward future Homes for Homes grant rounds in WA, supporting the creation of more social and affordable homes in communities where the need is greatest.

The event demonstrated the power of the real estate sector when it comes together with its clients and community. When businesses leverage their networks, expertise and influence to champion solutions, the impact extends far beyond a single night. It builds momentum, shifts public understanding and drives  change in the housing system.
