A Decade of Partnership with PEXA

As Homes for Homes celebrates 10 years, we are incredibly grateful to our long-term industry partner, PEXA, for standing with us since the very beginning. PEXA, Australia’s leading digital property settlement platform, has been instrumental in helping us grow our impact and deliver more social and affordable housing across the country.

Through the PEXA Exchange, property vendors can make seamless donations of 0.1% of their sale price to Homes for Homes as ownership transfers. For example, a property sale of $750,000 yields a $750 donation, which is transferred to Homes for Homes through the PEXA Exchange platform during settlement.

PEXA has also worked tirelessly with practitioners—through events, forums, and innovative platform enhancements—to raise awareness of Homes for Homes and highlight homelessness in Australia. These efforts have enabled us to secure ongoing donation commitments and ensure properties remain within the initiative, helping generate future funds for housing.

PEXA’s commitment goes beyond technology. Their generous sponsorship grants—totalling more than $545,000 since 2021—have helped create housing for over 200 people. Projects funded include transitional homes for young people, safe housing for women over 55, disability housing upgrades, and new homes for low-income singles, couples, and families.

Thanks to PEXA’s long-term dedication, innovation, and generosity, Homes for Homes has been able to grow stronger each year. Their unwavering support has been vital in helping us reach our 10-year milestone and in creating lasting change for people experiencing housing stress.
